Two-Illustrators Friday

My kids love the book, Pat The Bunny. Yesterday while reading through Leonard Marcus's book, The Golden Legacy, I found this picture of Nancy Kunhardt holding the knitted rabbit which inspired her mother Dorothy to write the book. I loved the little girl in her wooly snowy suit, holding her wooly rabbit. I am a bit nostalgic today about little girls and baby book , as my oldest, my first baby turns 22 tomorrow. Happy Birthday, Meera!

  1. Hey! I happen to have the Goldern Legacy book out from the library right now, so I looked up the photo you referred to. it is precious.Time does pass oh so fast, for illustrators and writers and all.

  2. Hi, I started reading your stories on the LionBrand blog, and was even more interested because my sister now lives in Iowa City...a fun little connection...

  3. Sally and Claudia! Hi

Always fun to see comments. I sometimes forget they are there, but thanks for reading.
